Doctor Who, Torchwood & Sarah Jane Adventures - BAFTA Cymru Nominations 2010
Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures have recieved several nominations in this year's BAFTA Cymru Awards.
Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One (Tracie Simpson) and Torchwood: Children of Earth - Day One (Peter Bennett) are both nominated in the 'Best Drama Series/Serial for Television' category.
Edward Thomas has been nominated in the 'Best Design' category for his work on Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars. Barbara Southcott has been nominated in the 'Best Make-Up' category for her work on Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part One.
Torchwood: Children of Earth - Day One has recieved 6 other nominations; 'Best Sound' (Julian Howarth, Tim Ricketts, Doug Sinclair, Howard Eaves), 'Best Editor' (Will Oswald), 'Best Costume' (Ray Holman), 'Best Screenwriter' (Russell T Davies), 'Best Original Music Soundtrack' (Ben Foster) and 'Best Actress' (Eve Myles).
The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Temptation of Sarah Jane Smith (Nikki Smith) has recieved a nomination in the 'Best Children's Programme' category. The series has also been nominated in the 'Best Interactive' (Richard Jenkins, Anwen Aspden) category.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff on 23rd May 2010.
